10 Ways to Celebrate Women's History Month
1. Support female coffee producers

Now is the time to sign up for our Coffee Recon Subscription, so you don't miss out on this month's feature from Rwanda. This delicious coffee comes was sourced from Royal NY Coffee from the Rwanda Women's Coffee Extension (WCE) at the Mbizi Coffee Washing Station. Founded in 2017 by Aline Christine and Odette Uwamariya, the WCE is a women's cooperative that empowers female coffee producers in Rwanda. With over 700 members, the WCE focuses on education, agricultural improvement, and community welfare, offering programs in family planning, nutrition, and livestock provision.
These efforts have led to increased coffee production and significant economic growth for its members. Looking ahead, the WCE plans to expand its impact by pursuing Rain Forest certification, providing more livestock, offering health insurance, building a sewing center and a nursery school, and creating new job opportunities for the community.
